The AnTing Regional Municipality commissioned the design of an enclousre for a water gate infrastructure project. The scope encompassed massing proposals and an iconic enclosure.

 

Flowing Gate proposes a traditional Chinese material pallette with contemporary construction techniques. A fluid organic form discontinuously encloses the facility allowing visual and environmental flows through the design. This option presents the inner civil infrastructure as a light and engageable participant in the built environment.
